It started with a teaser spot seen on television during The Today Show saying that the Justice League trailer was going to be released this Saturday. The teaser heavily featured Aquaman and some shots of the rest of the team. Then Warner Brothers released a new Justice League logo poster, followed by an Aquaman character poster. Finally, the teaser itself was released online.

The significance of the trailer being released this Saturday is that it is March 25th, one year after the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. I suspect that we will be seeing other teasers over the next two days for the other members of the Justice League. I doubt we will see Henry Cavill’s Superman, though, as he has been mostly absent from marketing materials for this movie. We know he “died” at the end of Batman V Superman, but will return in Justice League. We just don’t know how or when or how much he will actually be in the movie. However it happens, the Superman character has been held out of marketing and promotional materials for a reason. Justice League comes out in theaters on November 17th.
UPDATE: Warner Brothers photographer Clay Enos has all but confirmed that we will be seeing more teasers over the next two days in a tweet this morning.
@TaiFreligh I said presumably. That’s not a confirmation. I’m guessing.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
