Exclusive Interview with Maceo Smedley from Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger

Tai Freligh interviews Maceo Smedley from Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger… Maceo Smedley is an 11-year-old actor from Texas, whose acting career is skyrocketing into the Marvel Universe. The versatile young actor previously played the series regular role of a young slave named James in WGN America’s Civil War series Underground (with Executive Producer John Legend) about the Underground Railroad, appeared on NBC’s hit medical drama series The Night Shift. Currently, Maceo Smedley can be seen as Young Tyrone (a.k.a. Young Cloak) in Marvel’s new TV series Cloak and Dagger, (starring Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph), airing on Freeform on June 7th. It was a busy week for the website last week, including reaction to some new trailers that dropped and a few reviews of advance copies of Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) comics, one of my favourite times of year! I gave top marks to the Guardians of the Galaxy/The Defenders double-header, good scores for the nostalgic trip down memory lane for Underdog, and then poor grades on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Plants versus Zombies double-header. On the trailer front, we had an interesting one for The Dark Tower, based on Stephen King's novels.  I'm pretty torn on this one as the series of 8 books is my favourite from King and I have been waiting a long time to see a movie made out of them.  I think the casting…

After settling in Los Angeles, he studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been studying with Lesly Kahn & Co. for several years. Exclusive interview with Justin Swain from Marvel’s Luke Cage

Justin Swain can currently be seen as Bailey in Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix.  Luke Cage follows the story of Carl Lucas / Luke Cage, a former convict with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin who now fights crime.  Swain plays Bailey, Misty’s NYPD colleague. The first season premiered on Netflix on September 30th, 2016 and has received much acclaim from viewers and critics. Swain’s additional credits include HBO’s Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight, Boardwalk Empire, Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.  He took time out between auditions in New York to chat with Tai Freligh from Flickering Myth about season one of Marvel’s Luke Cage and some of his upcoming projects.
