New Hampshire Travel & Tourism The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development is the state’s tourism agency, tasked with increasing visitation, expanding awareness of the brand, and bringing in increased revenues through the rooms & meals tax. As the Communications Manager I acted as spokesperson to ensure accurate and positive coverage of tourism initiatives as well as repeated placement in media stories. I also elevated exposure of the NH Tourism Office by providing timely & compelling information to local and national media. I grew the VisitNH Facebook page to become the 2nd largest state tourism page in New England (MA was #1) by posting valuable content and engaging with the social community over six years. During my six year tenure as the Communications Manager for the NH Division of Travel & Tourism I was quoted in many publications and put out frequent press releases which were published in local and national magazines and media outlets as well as getting picked up by the Associated Press quite often and distributed nationally and internationally.
