A laid-back, quirky comedic actor, East Coast-born Matty Cardarople grew up entertaining friends and family in Exeter, New Hampshire. After settling in Los Angeles, he studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been studying with Lesly Kahn & Co. for several years. Discovered by actor Owen Wilson, Cardarople has appeared in several films, TV shows, including Netflix original series A Series of Unfortunate Events (streaming now), Drillbit Taylor, Dumb & Dumber To, The Big Sick, recent TV series Selfie and Jurassic World. I caught up with Matty to ask him about his Netflix show and to talk about The Big Sick, which was just bought by Amazon for $12 million at Sundance.
